This order for advanced on-line machinery monitoring systems will reach circa $2.5 Mio for Meggitt.

Ferroperm Piezoceramics A/S, Danish manufacturer of piezoceramic components, has been a member of Meggitt's Sensing Systems division since January 2008. Known for its high quality products for sensors and transducers, Ferroperm supplies all standard PZT materials, as well as a number of unique and innovative piezoelectric products for high temperature applications, materials with special acoustic properties, and through its spin off Insensor, also integrated piezoceramic thick films.
Siemens has chosen Vibro-Meter to provide the monitoring system for the SGT5-8000H, the world's most powerful gas turbine with a 340MW simple cycle power output. Our integrated solution includes dynamic pressure sensors (CP), as well as relative and absolute vibration sensors (CA and TQ) and a VM600 protection & condition monitoring system.
Vibro-Meter SA, based in Fribourg (Switzerland) is the second company in Europe to receive Nadcap approval for Electronics Assembly. The Audit was conducted end of May and after the post-audit process the certificate was issued on 16th July.
